Tori is a qualified Therapeutic Play Specialist, Forest School Leader, Childcare Practitioner and mum. She has spent time studying in Sweden and Swansea, and has gained a real taste for adventure travelling, taking part in outdoor pursuits and challenging herself to face her fears on a daily basis.

Tori believes strongly in the provision of a calm, loving and nurturing pre-school environment for children. So much so, that when expecting her own child, she believed it was necessary to create a nursery with this ethos for her son to attend. She has a real thirst for knowledge and believes in nurturing exploration and a life long love for learning in all children that she works with.

Having always been a bookworm and a playful soul, Tori’s favourite play memories include; reading fantasy stories, creating worlds with scary witches to run away from and making snow ants in the garden with her friends.

Tori has a teaching qualification enabling her to work with adult learners (PTLLS), and believes that a wide range of individuals make for a richer environment for children and staff. This is why she invites students to practise at Coed Derw and is confident in the learning experience that they receive.
